Our paintings are experiments of intensive color mixing. We control the opacity and the body depending on pigment-to-medium ratio. The textural element of our work has granules visible on the painted surface giving them unusual dimension.
Nature in art can take on many visual forms, from figurative to abstraction. Art often mimics nature, by seeking to visually recreate objects as they actually appear in the real world. Yet abstract paintings can also take their visual mnemonic from forms in nature, such as the above paintings. These pieces arose from the study and the observation, of natural forms. Working in the studio, we use creative liberties to assign colors to canvases that were inspired by what we see in our natural surroundings.
